At Tiny Treasures Day Care & Learning Center we believe the key to family involvement is giving families a variety of ways to be involved with the child at home and at the center without making them feel obligated. It is understood that most parents of the children who attend our Center are almost always very busy and will have limited time to participate at the Center. Therefore. Please do not feel obligated to do so when you are not able. We have a range of ways for parents to participate; time is just one of them.
The following are some ways of being involved:
-
The Center’s open-door policy welcomes and encourages you to visit or call at any time.
-
Parent quarterly newsletters, special events, quarterly parent/teacher conferences are held throughout the year.
-
You are welcome to join your child for lunch at any time.
-
You are invited to share a special activity or project with your child’s class.
-
We encourage you to share your ideas and concerns with the Center’s management and faculty at any time.
-
Making things for the program
-
Sharing their culture, talent, job, etc.
-
Participating in class activities
-
Contributing to the curriculum.
